Who We Are

Monteagle Towing is a locally run towing and roadside outfit working right off the top of Monteagle Mountain in Grundy County. We cover the town and the plateau around it — the I-24 grade and its runaway ramps, out to Sewanee and Tracy City, and down into the valley toward Cowan and Pelham. There is no franchise sign over the door; the people answering your call live on these same roads.

Jake has spent better than ten years working recovery and roadside jobs on Monteagle Mountain, everything from routine flatbed hauls on I-24 to heavy pulls when a rig loses its brakes coming down the grade. He put Monteagle Towing together to fill a gap he kept seeing — locals wanted a tow company that actually picked up the phone, got there quickly, and quoted a fair, honest price. He trains every driver on the crew himself and holds them to the same bar.
